To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Scottish Documentary Institute & Lansdowne Productions gathered together some of the most talented filmmakers and visual artists based in Scotland today. Collectively they created the feature length documentary, the New Ten Commandments – a comment on Human Rights from a Scottish perspective. It was broadcast on BBC Scotland in 2009.

The Right to Privacy segment, directed by Alice Nelson, is an animated quirky reconstruction of a act which took place in a hotel room and the court case that ensued in Scotland. The episode also toured festivals as a short film in its own right:
